FC3 — Overcrank (Standby Models)

No AC Output (Portable Models)
Briggs portable generators losing residual magnetism is extremely common after storage. The generator runs but produces no power. Fix: flash the rotor by briefly applying 12V battery voltage to the brush terminals through a 10-amp current-limiting resistor or an electric drill motor. FC8 — Low Battery (Standby Models)
